The A-team:
What we require of you (- to fulfill our mission)

Sorry, but this page is still being written.
Please come and talk to us in irc.undernet.org #A-team...

We need your full support in what we do, how we do it, and when we do it.

This is important because often many in a channel will insist existing channel rules and policies stay and want us to to work around them.

THAT DOES NOT WORK if we are to avoid spending all day arguing.

Every channel regular and op needs to be aware of exactly what you (and we) are doing, and your required outcome.

If they are unaware, they will waste time arguing. That is unproductive

As soon as the job is done - to your and our satisfaction - we will leave and allow you to manage your chat room :)

Rest assured that we do not collect multiple channels in our whois unnecessarily, lol.

We will not be offended if you don't offer us ops in your channel when the job is done. We already op in too many channels <grin>

Here is what you will need before we can join your channel to help.

**At least 6 supporters who are registered with cservice (X) and have had an account with cservice (X) for at least a week.

Undernet requires you to have 10 supporters NOT including yourself

We will only join and help start the registration process if you have 6 of the 10 required.

** Your supporters understand and agree with the opening statement made on this page

Here is what you will expect once the A-Team joins the channel to help:

**The A-Team will NOT be supplying supporters. (we cannot)

**The A-Team will NOT be supplying supporters. (we cannot)

**Once the A-Team joins we will expect you to have the remainder of the 10 supporters within 2 weeks .

Again the people you pick as supporters must be registered with cservice (X) for at least a week before they can be a supporter of the channel.

**COMMUNICATION IS A MUST!!

As a channel manager you MUST communicate with your supporters and with the A-Team.

That means PM'ing ALL of your supporters and at least 2 of the members of the A-Team with a progress report .This should be done at a minimum of once every three days.

(an email to the A-team at least once every 3 days will work in place of PM'ing members of the A-Team....your choice. (you will be given an email address))

This communication is very very important.

Here are some things that should be communicated:

***Status on who your supporters are (re-list all of the supporters every time new supporter is added.)

***Expected date the application for registration is to be made.(include country/time zone when giving dates)

If the above conditions are not met, the A-team and your supporters may think that you are not really serious about getting X into your channel and the A-team may proceed on that assumption.

A side note, the faster you get your supporters and apply for X the sooner your work is done

A second side note, the A-team is NOT there to do your work for you. We are there to do practical things like explaining and suggesting what YOU will do next, and speedily help fix up any stuff-ups along the way.

Important Disclaimer: The A-Team is independant and not endorsed or sponsored by Undernet. We are purely here to help if desired, no pressure applied
